When targeting striped bass or mackerel the captin might change or adjust the trip departure and return times due to the tidal influence on fishing. This will give you the benefit of having a more sucessful trip.

We typically run our striped bass and mackerel trips in coastal waters. Occasionally, we will go offshore to target certain baits or hunt down known schools of striped bass.

We also come across bluefish! We are equipped to catch and target them when they are around. The captain is on top of the lastest fishing intel and will give you the best possible day out on the water!

Deposit Fees, Gratuity & Cancellations

• All trips require a deposit at the time of booking to reserve the day and time of your charter. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within two weeks of the planned trip.
• If you cancel your trip two weeks before your booked charter date, your deposit will be refunded in full
• In the case of a cancellation due to bad weather or other conditions, deposits are fully refundable or can be applied toward a new date based upon availability.

** 50% deposit of the total rate is required to book and reserve your charter date.

**All deposits are applied to the cost of the the chosen charter rate.

Gratuity

• Manditory gratuity of at least 20% is required to be given to the mate or captain working on the boat at the end of the charter. This is the industry standard. 

Disclaimers

• Trips may be cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, or any reason that affects the safety of the vessel and the guests on board.  
• Federal illegal drugs are prohibited on board the Ashley Victoria. ***Please note: Laws are different in Federal waters than they are in certain States***   
• Hard Liquor is prohibited.  
• Customer is responsible for replacement or repair of lost or damaged equipment due to negligence.
• All commercial sized tunas that are caught on a charter and prepared for market are property of Hooked On Fish Charters, but you are the angler so there will be many opportunities to take photos with the commercial sized tuna. We also offer a 10% return trip discount on a charter where we catch a commercial sized tuna.
• Finally, the targeting of fish is dependent on availability, season and Federal or State regulations.  Hooked On Fish Charters believes in and supports sustainability and conservation. We follow all Federal and State guidelines.
